The words are odd, and the reading of them by the actor is also very odd. (The character is upset because, although belonging to an order assigned the guarding of a demonic being, nobody ever told them that that was what it was.)
The character Donald Pleasence plays has no name; he is listed in the cast simply as “Priest.” I have borrowed the last name Loomis from the character DP plays in the Halloween series (intrepid psychiatrist Dr. Samuel “Sam” Loomis).
